OVO Hydro drop-off and pickup: where to go.

The official drop-off and pick-up zone

• Where: at the west end of the SEC Centre, accessed via Stobcross Road. The venue address for drivers is OVO Hydro, Glasgow, G3 8YW.
• Cost: free.
• When: open from one hour before doors.
• How long: a flexible 30-minute stay, so a driver can wait while you get inside or come back out.
• The walk: a covered route through the SEC Centre, about three minutes to the OVO Hydro. The zone is staffed, with toilets, cash machines and a bar nearby.
• Accessible access: a free accessible shuttle runs from the zone and stops within 130 metres of the OVO Hydro south entrance.

How it works with a chauffeur

1. Book your car. Tell us the show, the date and your pickup address, and whether you want a return after the concert. We confirm the car and price before the day.
2. Collected from your door. Your chauffeur picks you up at the agreed time and drives you to the drop-off zone on Stobcross Road — no parking to find and no taxi queue.
3. Walk through to the Hydro. It is a short, covered walk through the SEC Centre to the arena.
4. After the show, message us. Send a WhatsApp as you leave the arena. We will tell you where your car is waiting, and the live tracking link shows it on the map.
5. Straight home. Walk back to the pickup point, and you are on your way while the crowds head for the trains.

Tips for concert nights

Arrive early. The roads around the SEC get busy in the hour before doors open. Leaving a little earlier means a calmer drop-off and time to find your seats.

Expect a short wait after a big show. When the arena empties, everyone leaves at once. Booking a return in advance means your car is already planned for — you are not competing for a taxi at the rank.

Bring your phone charged. Your pickup is arranged by WhatsApp, so keep enough battery for the end of the night.

Taxi: there is a Glasgow Taxis rank outside the SEC Armadillo, next to the OVO Hydro. Driving yourself: the multi-storey car park at 10 Stobcross Road, G3 8GS, is 128 metres from the OVO Hydro south entrance, with a 2-metre height limit; you pay before you exit.
