Edinburgh’s Old Town runs from the castle on its rock down the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, with Arthur’s Seat and Calton Hill giving the best views over the city.

Your chauffeur collects you from your hotel, drops you at the castle, meets you at the foot of the Royal Mile after lunch, and drives you up to the viewpoints, so you save your legs for the sights.

10:00 — Pickup at your hotel in Edinburgh city centre.
10:10 — Edinburgh Castle.
12:00 — A walk down the Royal Mile, past St Giles’ Cathedral.
12:45 — Lunch in the Old Town, on the Royal Mile or in the Grassmarket.
13:45 — The Palace of Holyroodhouse and a drive round Arthur’s Seat on Queen’s Drive.
14:30 — Calton Hill, for the view along Princes Street to the castle.
15:00 — Drop-off back at your hotel.
